Hidden Pines Resident Trainer: Jessica Duncan
Biography:
Jessica has 16+ years of experience riding and training horses and people. Her technique focuses on safety, balance,
softness, precision, and horse-rider relationship. She has competed in Dressage, Hunter, and Western Pleasure events
and was active in 4-H and Pony Club for several years. She has achieved Level 3 in Parelli Natural Horsemanship and has
studied techniques from Karen Rolfe, Walter Zettl, John Lyons, and Clinton Anderson. Her gentle approach and understanding
of horse psychology fosters creative learning and a safe, meaningful experience for both horse and rider. She enjoys working
with children, teens, and adults at all ages and skill levels.

Pricing:
- $40 per hour
- $35 per hour (2+ lessons per week)
- $25 per half hour
- Lesson Horses Available for $5 additional fee

Lesson Policy:
- All riders are required to wear a regulation helmet, riding boots, and long pants.
- All riders (and parents if rider is under 18 yrs.) are required to sign a HPS release and lesson release form.
- Lessons can be scheduled directly with the instructor. Please allow 24 hours notice to cancel lessons.
- Depending on the rider’s experience, lessons may include different aspects of horsemanship, including horse care,
grooming, tack, horse anatomy, and ground work.
- All students, parents, and spectators are required to treat horses with respect, care, and gentleness.
Any abuse of horses will result in dismissal from the program. The instructor has the right to correct abusive
behavior and to cancel the lesson if deemed necessary.
